congrats to spain...worthy winners...my team turkiye were a bit unlucky in the semi's but well life has to go on...college is on..one year left then hopefully i walk the portals of one of the IIM's but for that i'll have to begin my preparations in earnest...

congrats to the rajasthan royals for winnin the inuaugral edition of the ipl..they really deserved it..ipl was a fantastic tournament..forty five odd days was completely glued to sony max n its hilarious advertisements..

there were few players who have certainly caught the eye..snapnil asnodkar,siddharth trivedi,badrinath,mishra,dinda,shukla,goni,yomahesh...n the two most impressive new faces...yusuf pathan n pragyan ojha..

shane watson was the deserving player of the tournament n it was good to see a royal challenger gettin some award as well..sreevats goswami..next year i anticipate a royal chalengers vs deccan chargers finale..

my internship with taj residency ends this friday..will be glad tat its over..it was great at the beginning but slightly hectic n boring now..

will be looking forward to the european championships..m backing an underdog this time..TURKEY..hope they go all the way..

congrats to manchester united...they beat chelsea 6-5 on penalties after frank lampard's strike cancelled christiano ronaldo's opener..it was a pulsating encounter and didier drogba did a harbhajan like slapgate incident, the shootout was unbelievable, thank heavens i was watching as a neutral, i must admit when ronaldo's penalty was parried by cech, i thought the big trophy is heading to stamford bridge but i was mistaken, mr.chelsea himself ie john terry or jt did the unthinkable..a beckhamesque slip n the chelsea skipper was in tears, anelka's shot was blocked by van der sar n manutd were champions for the third time, a tribute to the BUSBY BABES who died fifty years ago in the snow at munich in a disastrous plane crash

ipl is hotting up, my money is on the kings xi punjab to win the title n i think the rajhastan royals will be eliminated in the semi's..mumbai will reach the final n i thik the deccan chargers will finish rock bottom

internship at taj residency has entered its penultimate week, the excitement has died down n i am waiting to finish it as quickly as i can

this past week i gave my first all india mock cat exam at TIME, which boasts that more than fifty percent of its students get into the illustrious IIM"s.i managed to get an overall percentile score of 79.95 n i cleared the cutoffs for data interpretation and verbal ability but was unable to clear the cut off for quant..thats my weak point n i must strive to work on it or else i can wave my IIM chances goodbye

the new bial airport has started functioning and i wish it all the best and the karnatakaelection verdict will be out this week..personally i feel yeddyurappa should be the cm and the race for te white house hots up..i think hillary v mccain mostly

on a lighter note, steve ballmer of microsoft was seen ducking at a budapest university when lecturing, a member of the audience allegedly started throwing eggs at him man that goes to show steve that windows doesnt always make the difference..

the royal challengers are officially out of the ipl semi final slot with more dismal performances but i thought the performance against delhi was extremely heartening..mumbai look strong favourites for the title in my few...comin to a title of a diff sort...nadal v federer in hamburg was a brilliant match..nadal eventually winning..champions eague final is round the corner n as a neutral it looks like its gonna be a very cagey affair..bjp seems to be doin alright in karnataka elections..fulham did manage to survive..full marks to jimmy bullard and danny murphy..n congrats to portsmouth for winning the fa cup..

Royal Challengers bangalore suck

the royal challengers have flattered to deceive...match after match when u think they have it in the bag, they somehow manage to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory..mumbai indians are on a bit of a roll and should make it to the semi along with kings XI, rajasthan royals, and a strong tussle between delhi n chennai...bangalore need to win atleast five out of the remainin six to have a ray of hope..it is more likely that they will taste defeat in five out of six..

the final barclays premier league weekend is approaching..manutd shuould beat wigan to retain their title..middlesbrough will languish in mid table..the relegation dogfight has also gone down to the wire..i think reading n birmingham will join the whipping boys derby county in the championship next season n i back mohammed al fayed's fulham to survive thanks to one individual..jimmy bullard..

karnataka elections around the corner n i am looking forward to voting.hillary obama race still too close to call and the taj internship is getting hectic and dull but the food remains the same..great!

manutd n chelsea will contest in the champions lge final in moscow...manutd were excellent against barcelona n chelsea v liverpool was a gud game...i thought frank lampard showed gr8 character the way he took his penalty after the demise of his mother n united will look to win the cup n dedicate it to the busby babes who died in a plane crash 50 years ago..

coming to the ipl...the rajasthan royals have been excellent but the same cannot be said about the royal challengers..they lie at the foot of the table n the knight riders are gradually fading away..
